HAVING read about the disappearing acts of Rwandan ‘superstars’ The Ben and Meddy, who vanished in Boston, a few days ago, I was shocked to read that a 17 year old athlete,Yves Sikubawbo, had done a runner in Canada. It seems that these people have temporarily lost their good sense.

Why would two wildly successful artists choose to join the ranks of illegal migrants in the United States? Do they, in all honestly, think that they will be become the new ‘Usher’ or ‘P. Diddy’? Especially without a Green Card? Whoever advised them to do so honestly didn’t have their best interest at heart.

It’s a shame that some of our best artists and athletes have shamed themselves in this manner.
