Addressing supporters at Ngarama market in Gatsibo District yesterday morning, the PSD candidate said that it’s time for the party to express its ambitions and take an upper hand in the country’s development.

"One of our main plans will be putting banana processing industries in this region…you produce a lot of bananas and sorghum that require small scale industries. This is what awaits you if you elect me,” he said.

Before extending his rally to Nyagatare District, Dr. Ntawukuriryayo told his supporters that among other promises, he would provide clean water to every citizen in the district.

In Nyagatare, he arrived at Umutara Polytechnic University play ground at around 4.30pm, where he was welcomed by over 200 supporters who sung party songs.

Ntawukuriryayo promised PSD supporters that he will, if elected President, strive to promote modern farming in the region.

"You are good farmers…but you need more support to improve farming in this region. One of my priorities and the party will be improving farming in this region to improve your production,” he said.

He also assured supporters that the party will promote quality education in the country.
