Depending on this year’s FESPAD theme, ‘Traditional dance, precious potential in creative industries’ the local artists commented on how Rwanda has benefited. 

"FESPAD has greatly hyped up the music industry in Rwanda as compared to earlier days when I first staged a show in 1997 and the people were totally in a low mood,” said Nutty Dread.
