Excitement overwhelmed residents of Gisagara and Nyaruguru districts of Southern Province as the RPF Presidential Candidate, Paul Kagame, campaigned in their districts. The New Times’ Journalists Edwin Musoni and Paul Ntambara asked some of the residents why they support Kagame.

There is a lot that Rwanda has achieved under the leadership of President Paul Kagame. Generally, the entire country is now secure, the economy is growing tremendously.

When I retired from the army, the Rwanda Defence Force under the leadership of President Kagame gave me money that I used to buy a piece of land and constructed a house. This is why I have all reasons to vote for him.
