PARIS - Rennes striker Asamoah Gyan claims three clubs are in the running to land his signature this summer.

The Ghana international is hot property at the moment, having shone for his country at the 2010 World Cup.

Interest in his services is reported to be mounting across Europe, with Rennes bracing themselves for a flurry of bids.
Among those to have already made their intentions known are Turkish giants Fenerbahce, who have had one bid knocked back.

They are believed to be ready to up their offer to somewhere close to €15million (£12.6m), but Gyan has revealed that they are not the only side looking to strike a deal.

"I am aware that three clubs have made contact with Rennes,” said the African ace.

"However, I am not going to war with my club. For me, everyone has to be happy and make sure they get the best deal possible.

"I am ready to report back for training, start the season and score more goals.”
