RUBAVU - The Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF), presidential candidate, Paul Kagame, has achieved a lot for the country, and he deserves another term, legislator Francoise Mukayisenga, told Rubavu residents on Wednesday.

Mukayisenga, was addressing a rally at Ntengo ground, which drew residents from Gisenyi, Rubavu, Nyakiriba and Rugerero sectors.

"RPF and our candidate, Kagame, are the brain behind this country’s development,” he said. "Kagame deserves another term; he has done a lot for the people, including giving cows to the poor and supporting universal education.”

Other achievements he cited include improved health care, security, poverty eradication, and unity and reconciliation.
RPF will continue the fight against poverty and make Rwanda a safe home for everyone, including the investors, he added.

The district RPF chairman and former mayor, Rashid Barengayabo, told the crowd that President Kagame would keep up the development pace and ensure stability in the region once elected.

Other rallies were held at Nyundo in Kanama and other three sites, ahead of President Kagame’s visit to the area today.
