Editor, I would like to make a comment on the recent article of Gwynne Dyer entitled “Rwanda: Kagame’s dilemma”. In his article, Dyer proved that though he may have some knowledge of global issues, he remains shallow about Rwanda and what is happening in Rwanda presently.

I would like to make a comment on the recent article of Gwynne Dyer entitled "Rwanda: Kagame’s dilemma”. In his article, Dyer proved that though he may have some knowledge of global issues, he remains shallow about Rwanda and what is happening in Rwanda presently.
Dyer, who adopt a language that is colonial in tone, is terribly wrong when he says that the army in Rwanda is exclusively Tutsi and more so the Government. Rwandans know very well that all groups are represented in the army and in the government.
The reference to the ‘tension’ between members the Abega and Abanyiginya clan in the highest echelons of our military is just laughable.
Dyer is simply copying the same rhetoric of genocide revisionists such as Paul Rusesabagina, who predicts genocide in the future.
Concerning the tragic murders, it is only the media in western countries that have politicized the unfortunate incidents.
The National Police in Rwanda apprehended the culprits and some of them admitted to have committed the crimes. This is unfortunately not being captured by those who have made conclusions about the crimes before the police finish the investigations.
Dyer should get out of that dilemma. Fly over to Rwanda sir and grasp the dynamics in place without having to use, as reference, people who have an evil political agenda
