This letter is in reference to your lead story about the Presidential elections and the campaign which begun yesterday. It is very commendable that the Government has put together all the necessary systems to ensure a smooth, free and fair election.

Rwanda has seen phenomenal growth and development over the last decade under the able guidance and astute leadership of His Excellency, President Paul Kagame.

I am sure that all Rwandans will bear in mind the tremendous progress the country has made and vote for the right candidate in the forthcoming Presidential elections on the 9th August, 2010.

I am wishing the President every success and a convincing victory so that he and his Government can steer this great nation to even greater glory in the coming years and achieve what has been set out in their Vision 2020.
