Rwanda Film Festival continues

The 6th Rwanda Film Festival that has been packaged under the theme “Africa Celebrated,” features 26 nations from across the world. Complementing the theme, the festival highlights the country’s major annual events such as Kwita Izina, FESPAD and the FIFA World Cup 2010, which was for the first time held in Africa.

The 6th Rwanda Film Festival that has been packaged under the theme "Africa Celebrated,” features 26 nations from across the world.

Complementing the theme, the festival highlights the country’s major annual events such as Kwita Izina, FESPAD and the FIFA World Cup 2010, which was for the first time held in Africa.

Represented countries include; Rwanda, Kenya, Uganda, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Namibia, Nigeria, Tunisia, Togo, Algeria, Germany, USA, Jerusalem, Belgium, France and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

6:00p.m:

‘Imani’(English), directed by Caroline Kamya from Uganda.
7:20 p.m: ‘Music by Prudence’ (English) by Roger Ross Williams from USA/Zimbabwe.

7:55 p.m: ‘Chasing Moses (Kukimbiza Moses)’, by Alexandros Konstantaras, a Kenyan film director.
Children Panorama at Maison des jeunes de Kimisagara.

The screening at the Children’s Panorama kicks off 2:00 p.m, with various films including Aid, J’ai faim, Au revoir Bouli, Paola poule pondeuse, Les rescapés, Discussions, Nabonye Inshuti, as well as Snacks and Drinks.
