According to The New Times of July 18, Kanombe residents, on Saturday, celebrated the fact that they now have more households connected to electricity and water. What was even more interesting was that the residents contributed up to 50 percent of the costs.

What this teaches us is that we should not always wait for the Government to do everything for us.

If we need something, let us too, contribute towards achieving a better standard of living for ourselves.
