I echo the sentiments of the Minister of Agriculture, Dr Agnes Kalibata, who recently urged the residents of Rubavu and Nyabihu districts to own a re-forestation project of Gishwati forest.

Unless Gishwati is restored, the entire region will still be in danger of facing landslides.
