Kayonza - The Minister of Public Service and Labour Anastase Murekezi, on Saturday, launched a Trade Show in Kayonza town in the Eastern Province.

Speaking at the launch, that was organized by the Private Sector Federation (PSF), the Minister urged the organizers to provide a platform for enterprises to address trade related issues.

The Minister further pointed out the Province’s economic potential, especially, in the areas of agriculture and farming.

"The size of the produce (bananas and cows) in this region cannot be found anywhere else in Rwanda,” Murekezi said.
The Vice Chairman of PSF, Faustin Mbundu, said that the trade show was important because it enabled farmers to learn from each other.

"People take the opportunity to exchange ideas, and re-think about their farming methods,” he said. "We shall continue organizing such trade shows in different districts.”
Damas Muhororo, the Mayor of Kayonza district, requested the traders to improve on service delivery.

The trade show attracted farmers and businesspersons from all districts of Eastern Province.
