YOUNG Tigers bounced back from their Computer Point T20 woes by thrashing Titans over the weekend at Kicukiro Oval.

Having won the toss, Young Tigers chose to bowl and the move paid off immediately as Titans’ opening batsmen Audifax Byiringiro (20) and Samson Nkurunziza (16) were sent pack into the stands inside the first eight overs thanks to Christian Mwijanda who earned Young Tigers an extra 0.5 points after picking seven wickets to limit Titans to 179runs.

After the lunch break, Andre Kayitera (88) and Jean Claude Siboniyo (54) gave Tigers a good platform before Mwijanda guided the side home with a boundary to finish unbeaten on 12.

Like Challengers who thumped Kicukiro College of Technology in the first game, Young Tigers have 4.5points and are joint-top in Group A.
