LIVINGSTONE, real name Brother Nteziyaremye is an upcoming Jazz and Blues gospel artist whose music is enjoyed both by gospel and secular music lovers.

Born September 26, 1982, Livingstone attended his primary and secondary school education in Adventist schools.

He ventured into music in 2001 and spent four years performing with a traditional dance troupe called ‘Irangira’.
In 2005, Livingstone was in touch with Tamfum Ibrahim, a famous local artist, who introduced him to Jazz.

Together with Ibrahim, the dual formed a group dubbed ‘Bravo Zung Stars’ and started staging live performances in public places. They have a rich collection of music genres such as Rock & Roll, Blues, Jazz and Zouk. 

It was around that time that Livingstone decided to enroll at Kigali Music School, in order to improve on his music career—unfortunately he was unable to complete the course due to lack of finances.

Alarmed that he could lose his talent, he quickly joined and started playing with the Black Blue Zung band, alongside Tamfum, Albert Torch, Tonny, Safari and Mike.

Livingstone says he is inspired by great instrumentalists, including Mikel Del Ferro, Bashir Dia, and Ryan Cohan.
Today, the jazz star sings with Asaph Music International, one of the leading praise and worship choir at Zion Temple.

He recently signed a contract with Moriah Entertainment Groups, which manages and promotes his work. He is also a member of the Moriah band.
