Editor,

I want to send my condolences to all those who’ve died in the Ugandan capital, Kampala, because of nefarious people who have absolutely no respect for human life.

It was with shock that I heard the news that the bombs had gone off killing a large number of people and injuring many more. I think wits tragic that innocent people have to suffer for the political pleasures of others.

What did those people watching the World Cup final have to do with any of the political goings-on in Somalia, or wherever?

I wholeheartedly condemn the terrorist acts, and I hope that the perpetrators face justice in a timely manner.
