The trio is among eight clubs that currently host their home games at Kigali Stadium but were made to shift until the ongoing renovation works at the facility are completed.

The stadium will be closed for about two months as the City of Kigali runs against the clock to have it ready by March to be able to host the FIFA Delegation tournament which will bring together delegates that will take part at the 2023 FIFA Congress scheduled to take place in Kigali in March.

The works will specifically be done in the pitch and other areas.

In a letter signed by the Executive Secretary of Muhanga District, Al Bashir Bizuremyi, says that Times Sport has seen reads in part, "I am pleased to inform you that you have been granted the right to use the Muhanga Stadium except for the dates of 20-21/01/2023 because there will be other activities."

The letter further indicates each of the teams will be requested to pay Rwf150,000 per day worth of rent of the facility as approved by the district.

Muhanga Stadium is currently home to second division sides AS Muhanga and The Winners.

Meanwhile, APR FC, AS Kigali, Gorilla FC and Gasogi United will join Bugesera FC to host their games at Bugesera Stadium.
