RPF gets new members in Nyagatare

NYAGATARE - Over 200 residents of Kiyombe sector, Nyagatare district on Wednesday joined the Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF).

NYAGATARE - Over 200 residents of Kiyombe sector, Nyagatare district on Wednesday joined the Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF).

At a colorful ceremony that attracted thousands of residents at Kiyombe Secondary School play ground, Francois Ndekezi, the head of RPF technical team in the district, urged the new members to act as the party’s ambassadors.

"We welcome the new party entrants for their voluntary decisions to join the RPF. We advise you to act as ambassadors of the party in different parts of the country,’ he said.

According to the Kiyombe Sector Executive Secretary, Emmanuel Mwumvaneza, a total of 280 residents took the oath after joining the party.

Jean Claude Ndagijimana, one of the fresh party members said in an interview that it was a privilege to join the party ‘that has led the country to sustainable development.’

"I am very happy to have joined RPF whose chairman has transformed our country,” he said.
