Now that the National Electoral Commission has confirmed the four presidential candidates President Paul Kagame (RPF), Prosper Higiro (PL), Dr Jean Damascene Ntawukuriryayo (PSD) and Dr Alvera Mukabaramba (PPC), I would like to take this opportunity to wish them the best during the campaign season and election.

I hope that the campaign will take place in an atmosphere of calmness and understanding. Remember that you aren’t campaigning just for yourself, but are campaigning to take the mantle of leader of the Rwandan people. That responsibility is paramount. Once again, good luck.
