Malnutrition is falling everywhere

Editor,

Reading the story In The New Times of Thursday July 8, about Bugesera District, which has recorded a significant drop in child malnutrition, falling from 49 percent in 2007 to 3.5 percent in 2010, I was left unsatisfied.

I would have liked to know the national rate of malnutrition presently as compared to the way it was a few years back.

With all the entire national, provincial and district level initiatives taking place, I’m of the view that childhood malnutrition is being kicked out, not only in Bugesera but in the entire nation.
