The country’s oldest football clubs SC Kiyovu and Mukura Victory Sports face off this afternoon in the Primus National League at Amahoro stadium.

After a morale boosting 1-0 victory against Espoir three days ago, Kiyovu will indeed go into today’s game with head high and hoping to be the only the second team to APR to do a double over Mukura.

Ali Bizimana, Kiyovu’s head coach has urged his players to win today’s game if they are going to challenge for a place in the top four.

"Our victory over Espoir further boosted our confidence and I hope we can walk away with maximum points from the game against Mukura,” Bizimana said.

Meanwhile, Mukura head coach Rajab Bizimuremyi believes his club has an upper hand against the Nyamirambo based club and will be looking to pick maximum points from the match.

Mukura has only lost a league fixture in the second phase against APR Fc and will not be looking to slip as they continue racing to finish in the top three positions.

"We want to wind-up our season with a winning style. We have only lost to APR during the second phase and we do not expect another loss before we conclude the season.” he noted.

Bizimuremyi says that they are 14 points a head of Kiyovu who are lying in the fifth place but the Huye based club want to compete with the top three clubs and at least finish the league in the third spot.
