It’s our country, never forget that

Editor, I loved the Presidents message on Liberation Day and I urge my fellow citizens to take the message to heart. We are the masters of our destiny; our future will be what we determine. Editor,

I loved the Presidents message on Liberation Day and I urge my fellow citizens to take the message to heart. We are the masters of our destiny; our future will be what we determine. We stopped the Genocide with our own hands, while the rest of the world wrung its hands in futile exasperation.

Now, as we choose what kind of future our country shall have, people who have never lived in Rwanda, or even wish it the best, assume to know what is best for us.

I say to them, "let us be”. We know what is good for us and our choices shall be governed by our own interests and no one else’s.
