Forums of different religious beliefs are joining forces in a one day national prayer organised by Omega Church.

The crusade titled ‘U Rwanda mu biganza by’uwiteka’ meaning (Rwanda in the hands God) will be held at Petit Stade from July 10-11 and several prayer sessions will be held before hand to bless the official event.

In an interview, Liliose Tayi, the Senior Pastor of the Omega Church said the inspiration of the crusade was derived from the book of Isaiah 62:1.

"God says He has good plans for His people and that we should pray and intercede so that the good plans to be fulfilled among us,” Pastor Tayi said.

Six local senior pastors, including Joshua Masasu, Paul Gitwaza and Antoine Rutayisire will attend the crusade.

Pastor Tayi, who says she was obliged by God to organize the crusade, said Rwanda needs unity, love and blessings from God in order to progress.
