WHILE talk of winning the forthcoming Africa Junior Volleyball Championship in Libya would be unrealistic, Rwanda’s national volleyball coach Paulo de Tarso reckons that a top four finish is certainly within reach.

The team is currently in Brazil were it is undergoing intensive preparations in three different cities; Sao Paolo, Sao Coetano and Jundiai.

While in South America, the team will also get an opportunity to meet one of the world’s most celebrated volleyballers Gilberto Godoy Filho a.k.a Giba.

Tarso also noted that camping in Brazil is a plus for the side because the weather conditions there are similar to those in Libya.

"It will be easy for players when they arrive in Libya because the two countries have similar weather conditions,” he said in a brief phone interview with Times Sport.

Tarso, an experienced Brazilian coach is one person the local volleyball federation believes can raise the game of volleyball in the country.

As of January, 2010, Brazil was rated as the best volleyball nation in the world. Egypt (14) and Algeria (19) are the only African teams in the top twenty.
