RAJAN Tiwari returned to winning ways on Saturday after lifting the MTN June quarterly mug at Kigali Golf Club.
Despite bogeys on holes 2, 7, 8 and 10, the handicap 3 golfer, still sailed home thanks to birdies on holes 1 and 14 which saw him finish with 71net.

"It’s good to get back to winning ways. I made some careless bogeys today but I’m glad that I still pulled through,” Tiwari, who also doubles as the club captain said.

Joseph Semwaga and Davis Kashaka returned 76net but the former secured second place on count back to walk away with an S-310 phone.

In group 2 (handicap 10-18), John Museminali was in fantastic form as he carded 69net to win the group. Juma Ngali finished second on 76net while Siula Kenam rounded off the top three slots with 78net.

Desire Rutasira saw his handicap brought down to 21 from 26 after a spectacular 63net in group 3 (handicap 19-28) while Philip Sheetal emerged as the best lady golfer on the day after stroking 69net. Linda Mugeni and Vicky Suazo finished second and third after returning 75net and 78net respectively.
