My sincere condolences go out to the families of the three Rwandan soldiers who were killed on Monday while on duty under the African Union- United Nations (UNAMID) peace keeping mission in Sudan‘s Darfur region.

The UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon and UNAMID officials should thoroughly investigate the matter and come up with a report on why the peacekeepers were attacked.

Whoever was behind the attack should face the wrath of the law.

Let us pray for the remaining peacemakers. May Sgt. Valence Musabyimana, Cpl. Sadiki Kabango, Pte. Joseph Ntawumenyumunsi, Rest in peace.
