The Ombudsman has urged students in institutions of higher learning to always take the lead in the fight against corruption and promote good governance.

Tito Rutaremara said this on Sunday at the conclusion of the Good Governance Marathon organized by Adventist University of Central Africa (AUCA).

He called on students to work hand-in-hand with all concerned institutions to fight corruption.

The Marathon that started at Kigali Business Centre roundabout to the university’s main campus in Rusororo Sector, Gasabo District, was organized to promote good governance.

It attracted students from the School of Finance and Banking (SFB) and Institut Enseignement Supérieure de Ruhengeri.
