Supporting African teams at this World Cup tournament has been a very heartbreaking process. Despite all the possession they get, African teams just can’t put the ball into the net! Apart from Ghana which plays a calmer game with a good approach, the rest seem to be nervous with no particular playing pattern.

Even on our own continent, we have been shown that it might take us a whole generation before an African country can lift the World Cup! I expected this time to be a little different.

I expected that we would get a minimum of three countries to the knock off stages. Unfortunately, only Ghana seems to be on that mission! I don’t know what’s wrong but now, we have really been embarrassed!
