RWANDA OTC MARKET REPORT : Week ended June 18, 2010

Equity Market This week, the Rwanda OTC market was quiet as no transactions were recorded. KCB shares remained at Rwf 156. At the end of the session, there were no offers or bids. This week on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), KCB shares hit a low of 20.00 Kshs (Rwf145) and a high of 22.00Kshs (Rwf160).

Equity Market

This week, the Rwanda OTC market was quiet as no transactions were recorded. KCB shares remained at Rwf 156. At the end of the session, there were no offers or bids.

This week on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), KCB shares hit a low of 20.00 Kshs (Rwf145) and a high of 22.00Kshs (Rwf160).  On Thursday, a total of 854,300 KCB shares were traded and closed at 20.25 Kshs (147Rfw). The NSE All share index closed the week higher at 94.39 compared to the previous week’s closing of 92.76.

The Bond Market:

The bond market was quiet this week as no transactions were reported.  At the close of business, there were Rwf 200 million government bonds bid and there were no sellers. There was no transaction on the BCR bond.
