In a bid to support local upcoming artistes, The Ben has connected Jack-B to a sponsor, Nelly Usanase.

The Ben recently bagged the (Best Artist) award during the Salax Award 2010. Jack-B told The New Times that Usanase, who was initially The Ben’s Manager, has accepted to support him financially in order to develop his career.

Usanase, a Belgium based Rwandan has already paid for a number of recordings, including his debut album ‘Izina ritunguranye’.

The upcoming hip-hop star confessed that the journey to his music career has been rough due to lack of financial capacity.

"It has been very hard for me to pay for the recordings, thus hindering my performance to and release of quality music,” Jack-B said.
