Gerald Caplan was spot on

Editor,

I have just read the opinion written by Gerald Caplan that was published in the paper of Monday June 14. While there are a couple of things that I may not agree with him 100 per cent. I must admit that he brought out a point that Rwanda has been putting forward – double standards.

Time and again, the world tends to ignore pertinent issues and promote selfish interests. There are so many hullabaloos over Erlinder’s arrest. But instead of letting the Law take its course, like it would have been in any other developed country, it has become an attack on Rwanda.

If the "noise makers” really cared about the Rwandan people, they would understand that Genocide denial is a no-go area.
