Music Awards have become a new trend in Rwanda’s budding music industry. Skizzy, a member of the KGB group is organising a music competition dubbed ‘Ninde uzemeza undi imbere y’abafana be’ and he is optimistic that it will be the best music award competition ever.

The festival is slated for Sunday, June 20, at Santa Rosa in Remera. Artists will compete in only two musical genres Hip-hop and RnB.

Bull Dog, Ally G and Sajou will compete in the category of Hip hop, while Puff G, The Rain Paul and Elion Victory compete in RnB.

The concept of the competition is to improve the quality of local music competitions, motivate artists, as well as boost the country’s music industry to an international level.

The ‘Ninde uzemeza undi imbere y’abafana be’ award only comes a few days after the Salax Awards and few weeks after Aimable Kubana’s ‘Talent Awards’.
