Premier Model Agency in ‘Bye-Bye Nyakatsi’ campaign

Premier Model Agency, a locally renown fashion model agency, on June 12 staged a successful fashion show titled ‘Bye-Bye Nyakatsi’ at La Chantier- Nyamata. The show officially concluded the ‘Bye-Bye Nyakatsi’, a campaign initiated by the Rwanda Diaspora Global Network, in collaboration with Junior Chamber International (JCI) to end the regime of grass thatched houses in the country. Rwanda Diaspora Global Network intends to build 500 modern houses in Bugesera.

Premier Model Agency, a locally renown fashion model agency, on June 12 staged a successful fashion show titled ‘Bye-Bye Nyakatsi’ at La Chantier- Nyamata.

The show officially concluded the ‘Bye-Bye Nyakatsi’, a campaign initiated by the Rwanda Diaspora Global Network, in collaboration with Junior Chamber International (JCI) to end the regime of grass thatched houses in the country.
Rwanda Diaspora Global Network intends to build 500 modern houses in Bugesera.

"As Rwandan models, we feel that it’s our responsibility to participate in all campaigns aimed at contributing to the development of the country,” Jean Claude Ndayishimiye, the President and founder of the Premier Model Agency told The New Times.

The fashion show attracted several government officials and Rwandans in the Diaspora, including the Minister of Sports and Culture, Joseph Habineza and the Director of Rwanda Diaspora Global Network, Robert Masozera.
Also in attendance were Miss Rwanda, Grace Bahati and Miss East Africa, Cynthia Akazuba.

Prominent local artists like, Uncle Austin, The Ben, Atome and Ndayishimiye entertained the audience with electrifying performances. 

The show was organised by Premier Model Agency in conjunction with ‘Pasadena Murugo’, a pub based in Gikondo.
