The music scene in Rwanda is turning pages. What happened at the Salax Awards was very embarrassing. The artists turned up very late and then Meddy was offered a chance to perform in front of his fans and he refused.

Now that is very embarrassing. First to the artists, you guys think you are really big, but that’s not it. Time management is very important in your career. In case we want the music  industry to develop, then you guys have to style up! To Meddy, I am one of your fans and I thought you would sing.

Why couldn’t you sing in front of your own fans as a way of appreciating them. You think you are bigger than the other artists that performed? I am not hating, but just trying to put things into context, you need to build your fan base!

Artists should try to get real and use every opportunity that you get to sing. I am writing this without fear or favor.
