RPF elects disciplinary committee members

KIGALI - The Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF-Inkotanyi) has a new Disciplinary Committee. The new committee members were elected last weekend by the party’s Congress held last Friday.

KIGALI - The Rwanda Patriotic Front (RPF-Inkotanyi) has a new Disciplinary Committee.


RPF Commissioner Prof. Chrysologue Karangwa was retained as head of the five-man committee. Karangwa is also chairman of the National Electoral Commission and Rector of Kigali Institute of Science and Technology (Kist).

Other committee members are Joseph Murekeraho who is the State Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, MPs Charles Kaboneka and Connie Bwiza, and Kigali City vice mayor Jeanne d’Arc Gakuba.

According to a statement signed by the RPF Secretary General, François Ngarambe, the committee will to handle all cases of indiscipline that may arise in the party or involving party members.

Delegates also voted to fill a vacant seat on the party’s Youth Committee. The former head of Youth committee, Edda Mukabagwiza, who is now Rwanda’s Ambassador to Canada, was replaced by MP Specioza Mukandutiye.
RPF-Inkotanyi holds it’s National Congress every two years.
