Serena to screen World Cup matches

KIGALI Serena Hotel has confirmed that they will screen selected FIFA 2010 World Cup matches during the entire tournament.

The hotel’s Sales and Marketing Manager Evelyn Karamagi said, "We want our guests and clients to enjoy the tournament especially games involving African countries.”

MTN sponsors four journalists to World Cup

MTN Rwanda has facilitated four journalists to go and be part of the World Cup experience in South Africa.

The quartet includes Clever Shyaka of Radio 10, Shyaka Kanuma of Focus newspaper, Radio Rwanda’s Jean Claude Ndengeyingoma and Richard Kwizera of Rwanda television.

"You go as ambassadors of Rwanda and make us proud. Use your profession to effectively articulate your experience to the Rwandan public,” said MTN Chief Executive Officer Khaled Mikkawi who has tipped Brazil to win a sixth World Cup.
