RWANDA need to beat Kenya to stand any chance of qualifying for this year’s Africa Handball Junior Championship in Djibouti.

The two sides face off this afternoon at Kimisagara courts. Kenya, who maintained their 100 per cent record in the tournament yesterday after thumping Tanzania 31-20 top the five-nation table with nine points, three clear of Rwanda.

Uganda also has nine points but trails on goal aggregates not forgetting that they have also played a game more.

In his pre-match remarks, Kenya’s coach Peter Mwathi said, "We have had a good run so far but it is never easy when playing against a host team.”

The other day’s game pits Tanzania and Burundi. The two sides are yet to win a game in the competition.
