I read with keen interest the articles in your newspaper about the sixth edition of the Gorilla naming ceremony – Kwita Izina.

This is indeed a unique tourism product offering for Rwanda and it is very encouraging to see His Excellency, President Paul Kagame, participating and endorsing the programme.

The presence of members from the diplomatic corps, various government organisations and several international celebrities only added to the colourful ceremony which provided the perfect blend of local and international flavour.

I am wishing the country continued success in its efforts to showcase the best in Rwanda - the land of a thousand hills, a million smiles and also the land where the mountain gorilla will become the best preserved species.
