MTN, can you stop harassing us?

Editor,

I am dismayed by MTN’s arrogance as they perpetually continue to bombard their customers with unnecessary messages. For the past month, they have sent us endless chains of annoying promotional messages about winning cash that they well know all customers will.

Recently they have adopted an annoying way of reminding customer’s to call back. Of course, if I found a missed call on my phone, I will call back and it’s needless to send the messages all day. Some people have meetings and busy schedules and do not need to be interrupted with endless messages that do not add value to their work.

This consider is an invasion of personal privacy and it’s an abuse of the customer’s rights. It would be better for everyone if MTN focused more on advertising their products rather than driving their customers insane. It shows a lack of respect and value for customers.
