Please allow me to congratulate John Gara , Clare Akamanzi and the team at RDB for having put into place this online service, which will surely facilitate international companies and investors from around the world to do business with the country.
It would be a great facility to investors if the Department of Immigration and Emigration likewise, enabled foreigners to get a one year multiple entry "Business VISA” online , once you have completed your registration with RDB and obtained your TIN number .
Presently, people can apply online to the Department of Immigration and Emigration, but what you get on arrival is just a single entry visa for USD 60.
This means you have to go back again to the authorities on your arrival into Kigali and then apply for a multiple entry business visa and pay the visa fees all over again.
