LA Colombiere strolled to the Copa Coca-Cola U-17 schools’ Championship after edging Ape Rugunga on penalties (3-2) over the weekend in Huye, Southern Province.
La Colombiere, which boasts of several APR academy players, at the end of the day out-muscled Ape Rugunga, dominated by players from Ferwafa academy.
It was good preparation for the U-17s as they prepare for next year’s U-17 Africa Youth Championship which will be hosted in Rwanda.
