Equity Market This week, the Rwanda OTC market had a turnover of Rwf 47,700 from 300 KCB shares traded in two transactions at   Rwf 159. KCB shares closed at Rwf 159, a drop of Rwf 21 from the previous week’s closing.  At the end of the session, there were no offers or bids.

Equity Market

This week, the Rwanda OTC market had a turnover of Rwf 47,700 from 300 KCB shares traded in two transactions at   Rwf 159. KCB shares closed at Rwf 159, a drop of Rwf 21 from the previous week’s closing.  At the end of the session, there were no offers or bids.

This week on the Nairobi Stock Exchange (NSE), KCB shares hit a low of 20.00 Kshs (Rwf145) and a high of 21.50Kshs (Rwf156).  On Thursday, a total of 322,800 KCB shares were traded and closed at 20.50 Kshs (149Rfw).

The NSE All share index closed the week lower at 90.70 compared to the previous week’s closing of 92.14.

The Bond Market:

The bond market was quiet this week as no transactions were reported. At the close of business, there were Rwf 200 million government bonds bid and there were no sellers. There was no transaction on the BCR bond.
