The Ben’s life was last week threatened after unknown hooligans attempted to pour acid him.

This happened in  Kibagabaga, a few minutes after he had left party in the area.

According to reports, The Ben left the party for home at around midnight in the company of his two friends and fellow artists, Jack-B and Uncle Austine .

It was after they had reached Ben’s car, which was packed near Kibagabaga hospital, when unidentified people in a car poured acid, which missed him and got Jack-B, who was sited in the driver’s seat.

"I was still on the phone, while Uncle Austine and Jack-B were inside the car. Suddenly, I heard them screaming and Jack-B crying for help,” The Ben told The New Times, "I immediately rushed to see what had happened, only to be told that the guys in the car that had just passed poured acid on Jack-B.”

He added that, "Jack-B had moved from the back seat to the driver’s seat, where I was sited…pretending to be driving.”

However, The Ben noted that he was not certain whether he was the target, but thanked God because none of them suffered injuries.

"They drove off immediately, and we tried to help Jack-B to remove his jacket, which was burnt into ashes,” he added.

Efforts to reach the police by press time to comment about the incident were futile.
