The residents were also entertained to a variety of music and dance.
Speaking to The New Times, one of the event’s organizers Siméon Nshimiyimpaye, said the promotion is aimed at increasing the number of MTN clients countrywide.
He further added that the promotion is meant to enable subscribers to win a total of Rwf1 million every week, adding that MTN has so far paid out a total of Rwf30, million to lucky winners countrywide.
"BEBEZA CASH promotion shall award an additional Rwf20 million to 21 lucky winners in this coming month,” he added.
