APR Coach Erik Paske has slammed referees for easily dishing out red cards at the on-going Kagame Cup.

The army side, who are now in the final after ousting Sofapaka 1-0 in Wednesday’s semi-final, finished that particular game with ten men after Vincent Nyirenda was red carded for an attempted elbow on a Sofapaka player.

It was the third red card dished out to APR prompting Paske to question some refereeing decisions.

"My players are not indisciplined so I think the problem has been with the referees. Sometimes, they have made hasty decisions in the tournament and teams have had to pay the price,” the Dutch tactician said.

"I have now spoken to my players to be extra vigilant in the final,” he added.

In total, four red cards have been dished out so far; three to APR and the other to St. George.

Nyirenda saw red against Vital’O, Tchimanga Mutamba was sent off against Sofapaka while Logba Didier Sella received his marching orders during APR’s group A tie with Telkom of Djibouti.
