I want to register my utter disgust at the manner of TP Mazembe’s exited in which from the Cecafa competition. Beating up a referee because you disagree with his decision is archaic and backward. Football isn’t a game for hoodlums.

I urge the Cecafa administration to lobby the continental football body, CAF, to make sure they get severely punished.

On a brighter note, I want to appreciate APR FC’s run of form as they move into the semi-finals. I urge the team to be at the top of their game as they take on the Kenyan champions Sofapaka. They seem to be the tournaments bogey-team.
