Rwanda’s MICE Tourism is here to stay

Editor, This letter is in reference to your article announcing that the forthcoming International Bamboo Conference will be held in Rwanda during the second half of 2010. It is very encouraging to see how the country is succeeding in securing International conferences like the recently concluded 6th African Dairy Conference and Expo. The Meetings, Incentives, Conferences and Exhibitions (MICE) market is one of the fastest growing segments among visitor arrivals the world over. It is very creditable and a great achievement for Rwanda Tourism and other concerned agencies to host such important international events.

Editor,

This letter is in reference to your article announcing that the forthcoming International Bamboo Conference will be held in Rwanda during the second half of 2010.

Now that the country is rapidly enhancing its conference facilities and infrastructure, Rwanda’s MICE tourism is definitely here to stay and will also grow by leaps and bounds.

Kind regards
