A record ten teams have registered for the inaugural Computer Point knockout T20 tournament which swings into action today at Kicukiro oval.

On top of Kicukiro College of Technology (KCT) and Strikerz who get on with the action this afternoon, other teams in contention include Challengers, Indorwa, Right Guards, Young Tigers, Impala Nippers, Titans, National University of Rwanda (UNR) and KCC who lifted last month’s RCA Twenty20 title.

Tomorrow, two games are on cards; Challengers face Indorwa while KCC entertain Impala.

After the preliminary round, the top five teams and one lucky loser will meet in the next round where the top three sides and one lucky loser will advance to the semi-finals.
The final will be played on June 20.

With a sponsorship package of Rwf1.4m from Computer Point, a trophy and Rwf110, 000 awaits the winner while the runner-up settles for Rwf55, 000 and a trophy.

The T20 event will be closely followed by the prestigious Sulfo league.
