Truth: Children are not carbon copies of their parents.  A father should teach his son to appreciate and feel good about his own body.

Myth 2: Circumcision protects boys from developing harmful medical problems.

Truth: There are absolutely no proven medical benefits to circumcising infant boys. No medical society in the entire world, recommends infant circumcision.

Myth 3: The foreskin has no functions, so it doesn’t matter if it is cut off or not.

Truth: The foreskin is extremely functional. One of its main functions is that it enhances sexual pleasure.

Myth 4: Women prefer circumcised men.

Truth: No one can prove this. Both circumcised and uncircumcised men get married every year to women who love them the way they are.

Myth 5: Circumcision is quick and relatively painless.

Truth: Circumcision is a surgery; most surgeries are bloody and painful. Sometimes, circumcision brings about some complications such as excessive bleeding.
