Rwandan lands slot at E. Africa training camp

AFTER an excellent display at the just concluded training camp in Burundi’s capital, Bujumbura, Jules Ndibwami has been selected for next year’s East Africa training camp. According to the ITF Development Officer Prince Madema, Ndibwami, who was competing in the U-11 category, put in a good performance after amassing 600 points.

AFTER an excellent display at the just concluded training camp in Burundi’s capital, Bujumbura, Jules Ndibwami has been selected for next year’s East Africa training camp.

According to the ITF Development Officer Prince Madema, Ndibwami, who was competing in the U-11 category, put in a good performance after amassing 600 points.

The youngster, who lost out to Kenya’s Sheil Kotech 3-6 0-6 in the final, registered three wins en route the final.

Rwanda’s other player Ernest Habiyambere dropped out at the quarter-final after losing out to eventual winner Kotech 5-7 3-6.
