Editor,

I would like to commend RDB/IT and various ICT organs for their contribution to the ongoing digital revolution.

Their dedication to promoting information and communication technologies (ICT) as a means of providing a better life for Rwandans is inspiring.

As the country races towards becoming an ICT hub in the region, Rwanda is bringing to attention the endless possibilities that ICTs hold in the countries development.

As the optical fibres are rapidly installed across the country, I cannot ignore the fact that more jobs have been created for the unemployed in Rwanda.

I’m even more impressed by fact that more women are equally involved in installing the optical fibres alongside their male counterparts.

As the Rwandan government ensures that it attains its Vision 2020 ICT goals, the importance of the Internet as a global and national resource has to be valued.

This way Rwanda will be a better country with people living a better life simply because they have the ability to connect and interact through the lnternet.
